It was kinda bad. Whenever the white students said racist things, the teachers would just say, "be nice" but when we retaliate they get mad. I hear it's better now but it was exhausting having to be the mature one.

Desert Hills Middle school is a very interesting place to go to school. Most of the teachers are great along with most of the other staff but its more a place to learn and not to have fun. Some of the principles are very strict so sometimes rules that are ridiculous are put to test.

What I like about desert hills middle school was the creativity you got to have in classes. What I would like to see changed is the amount of clubs offered to the students.

I have had two reg ed kids at this school and it went fine for them. However, for my child on an IEP, the experience there was overall very poor. I would never send another child with special needs there, ever!
