Over the years I've spent at KM I've seen improvements for student safety. Setting up gates to keep out pedestrians makes me feel more safe when I'm on campus. KM also has lots of opportunities to get involved, with all the varsity/jv sports and clubs there's something for everyone. Also there's always some around, with all of our counselors, college success and career readiness people around.

Experience almost always depends on your teachers and friends. Many teachers will pretend to care and then prove they don't. There are plenty of resources for many things (like free hygiene products or college help) but it takes YOU to go and seek it out, even if it is advertised.

Best parts: Teachers actually try to impart knowledge in a good way. Staff tries to engage students in active learning, participation, and forming friendship. Worst parts: Students are not that great. People vape in every bathroom all the time on campus. Students' unwillingness to learn is reflected in teachers' tiredness.

The teachers could care less about my kids when they attended. My son was supposed to receive extra help, due to learning disability, and kept getting suspended. No homework was ever assigned to him when he was out. My daughter dropped out, and ended up getting her ged, due to bullying from other st...

I believe an important variable for a student to succeed in high school is parental involvement and support. I have two children who attended KM. Both are high honor students. Parents need to teach the importance and value of education at a young age. KM has many low income families who move in and...
