GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I personally loved being at Kewaunee because the teachers wanted to help you succeed and would do anything to make and keep your grades at the best the you want them. Also the staff and people are always nice and usually always say hi whenever you walk by them in the hallways. A smile is really what makes students feel safe and wanted at a school, and I can say that this school does that well.

It was lots of fun, it was little so you knew everyone and their families. Since we are a tiny school we don't have all the resources bigs schools have but the teachers try to get us as ready as possible. All of the teachers are super nice and willing to lend an ear to anyone and help you with anything.

Well, seeing as how I already answered this question, I'll leave it at this. I've never felt unsafe when at school, and I've never heard of an intruder being in the building. Bullying is fairly prominent, but not very common. More often than not, it's just friends joking around, while maybe taking it a step to far. I believe the nurse is spread across the middle and high school, but I could be mistaken. I believe there are two officers on school ground during the day, but I don't know if/how well armed they are.

The experience has been bad for my grandkids. They are open to bullying with no recourse. On top of that the Principal will go out of his way to justify punishing only the non-white children. If you are going to be have a mixed or non-white child going to this school be prepared for the racism to ev...

I'm a proud graduate and former teacher. I am where I am today because of the fantastic staff that was at KHS at the time. Thank you Don Rabas, Bob Murphy, and John Bennett!
