GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Kiel high school is a poor school when it comes to the academic side of things. There are very limited options when it comes to AP classes, as many of the AP classes are only offered online at the highschool.

I loved the small town vibe of the school; the community is very involved with student life and culture. I do wish that our school made more approvements to our facilities and offered more advanced placement classes for students in person and not just online. This allows students who are very academically sound to succeed and find interest at higher levels without having to leave Kiel High School property to get the resources they need to advance in to college academics.

The changes being made to the school are doing nothing but bringing the district down. Good teachers don't want to stay and the community won't back a referendum to save their life. I would love to redo our track so we can hold meets, build a new auditorium because the current one is falling apart, and make this district better for both students and teachers so that the students and teachers who come to the district, stay here.
