In the Killeen ISD district I would say that Shoemaker is not a bad choice to attend to. The staff does focus on making sure the students are safe and it has a lot less problems comparing it to other schools in the district.

Shoemaker High School brought me many opportunities during my time as a student. I was able to get my associate's degree and my CPT while in high school without payment. The clubs are the heart of the school and if you go looking for a place to belong you will find it. The staff is always willing to help and you will meet people who want you to be successful. While like any high school, there are things to be picky about there is nowhere else I'd rather be an alum of. GO GRAYWOLVES!!!

My time at shoemaker has been full of up and downs, but having a close knit of friends and awesome teachers I have been able to continuously excel past my best! I would love to see the school get more involved with the student activities and create a more fun ways so for us to get involved with our learning!

this school has some of the best and most of the worst teachers like some have said many of the teachers struggle to actually teach but then gripe at us when none of us can grasp what they are teaching. the kids are alright but a lot are disruptive. and don't get me started on the principal her firs...

I currently have a sophomore and a freshman who have both passed TSI and my sophomore is currently taking his 3rd college class. He is a 4.0 gpa student to include college classes. I give the credit to the teachers and excellent counselors in this school. The principal and vice principal very suppor...
