GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Kinder is so aggressively average it's not even funny. If you're not a perfectly regular student, your education is not their priority. It's not a bad school, but not even its problems are unique. Like half of the students actively dislike the school, and the other half are just too ignorant to have an opinion. It's just like all other Title I schools in Louisiana, ignored and neglected. It's sad, but all you can do is either leave or put your head down and wait to graduate.

Kinder High School is all in all a good school, but they could honestly do better. The teachers are amazing & most of the faculty is very helpful. The only issue i'd say I have with Kinder High School is trying to get in contact with the counselor. She's hardly ever at school, which makes it hard for anyone to get in contact with her.

Kinder High School is a small town school located in Louisiana. During my 4 years here, I've had excellent teachers who were always ready to assist me in any way needed. The administration here really does have your back, and they do listen. The only complaint I have is the lack of student expression. Uniforms are a part of our daily attire, and the dress code is strict on hoodie designs so there's a real sense of lack of self-expression. Other than that it is a good school.
