Kinder high school has improved very much over the four years I have been here. We have received new administration which is bringing the school in a better direction. The clubs are now pushed towards students more along with community service hours. The things that hold us back are still just the lesson plans. I feel that the college readiness is still not where it could be. But other than that test scores have improved over the years and we are seeing more dual enrollment students which is helping. Still things like bad behavior is still a struggle but it has been dealt with more and suspensions have dropped.

The best part is the sports, that's basically all I come to school for. The worst is the education experience, I'm not learning anything and the learning environment is just so negative

Kinder is so aggressively average it's not even funny. If you're not a perfectly regular student, your education is not their priority. It's not a bad school, but not even its problems are unique. Like half of the students actively dislike the school, and the other half are just too ignorant to have an opinion. It's just like all other Title I schools in Louisiana, ignored and neglected. It's sad, but all you can do is either leave or put your head down and wait to graduate.
