GreatSchools Rating

Source: GreatSchools
GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I love how involved the teachers are with the students, and even though there are still plenty of things the school can improve on, I've had a pretty good experience. Its better than Montrose High School for sure .

I am sad that there is not more of a push for art classes. It seems the majority of students are pushed into the music/chorus track. There seems to be way too much emphasis on the dress code. Let's focus on what matters - academics. We need to work hard at preparing these students for college and to be successful after graduation.

All of my teachers were willing to give everything they could to help me and my classmates succeed. If I could change anything about the district, it would be the school board.
