I have two children (one has been going since first grade and he just graduated the fifth and the other has been going since Kindergarten and is a fifth grade as of August). The teachers are caring and the principal and secretary are wonderful. The special ed classes my daughter takes has helped her out tremendously and I don't know what she'd do without them. The ONLY thing I would change is the entrance to the school because it's not locked and I don't feel that secure.

Not a great choice for special needs students. Much too quick to discipline rather than provide any therapeutic intervention. Very little support or follow-through in IEP.

Lesson plan is no existent for my fourth grader. School is in the middle of no-where and the teachers seem to define a closed society that doesn not allow for outside intervention. Also, Why are only one star reviews on this site taken down. This should be allowable for all reviews not just the 3 an...

My son has been at Banks from k-5th. My son and I have been happy with all of his teachers. They are helpful, caring and welcome parental involvment. My son has been successful and he is now in AIG classes. I hate that we must transfer to another school.
