GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My time spent at Kirksville Senior High School was mediocre. There is nothing about it that stands out as terrible or excellent. I have teachers who are passionate but also ones who couldn't care less. It is definitely a situation where you get out of it what you put in. I was forced to be self-motivated and that helped grow me as a person and because of this extra involvement I am better prepared for college.

As it is with any school, a majority of the teachers do tend to have favorite students, but all the teachers are welcoming and are knowledgeable in the class that they teach.

I really enjoyed how all the teachers care about their students and even the administration really wants everyone to do good in life. There are a lot of classes and people who try and help their students prepare for college.
