Guidance" counselors don't help much. I am apart of the top 2% for my graduating class and I have gotten barely any resources to prepare me for college. The teachers are doing more for me than the actual counselors are. The school is only focused on pumping out as many high school diplomas as possible, so if you're above average you're no longer a concern for them. Other than that the teachers themselves are great, most of them will go out of their way to assist students and help them succeed.

Missed informed me when I sign up, thru FASA that I will meet the requirements for my hours . That way next year I can resign up using FASA. And not pay out of pocket for classes. But at the end I was called down to office and told that FASA can't pay until I meet my hours .. I'm short 30 something hours because I was missed informed when I started . When I was told I would have enough hours if I start. And I'm legally handicapped. Feel miss treated and also that this happened just because I was walking around school with a cane . And I guess that's a hazard to them

Socially, I feel it's a lot easier to fit into this school. The academics are challenging but you feel like you're making legitimate progress towards your degree.
