GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Most of the staff is very supportive and helpful, but not a super welcoming environment among peers. Great academic opportunities.

Overall I enjoyed my experience at Kodiak High School. I only saw bullying a few times and it seems like it was taken care of. The academics are alright. Some teachers care a lot while others don't, as with any other school. The arts could use a bit more funding. The building is very nice.

Academics is amazing. Sports, clubs. and music is good and a big part of school culture. Administration his wonderful. They go out of their way to help the student body as a whole. And they listen to the student bodies needs and concerns. Overall a good place to go to school.

But, I have to laugh at the review posted stating the school is "bad, pregnant women, smoking and drinking, etc." I think this is an age old thing in high schools? I consider myself a protective (so...
