GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

If you're a part of a certain family or social group, everything will get handed to you, even out of school things like work. If you are new, the school will think you don't matter.

West Grand High School is in a very small town with not very many people. I graduated in a class of twenty people. The small classes help students get individual attention which makes the academics at this school great. The workload was about average, not overloaded but just enough schoolwork and homework.

Due to the small town environment, most people at the school pick on each other but I have seen it go too for to where it would lead to someone crying or a physical fight. Drug/alcohol safety are rarely spoken about and I think the school should try to put more emphasis on the harm underage drinking can cause. I think the school is pretty safe in general because everybody knows everybody and that makes it easy to spot something that may be out of the norm.
