Welcome to La Fe Preparatory School. It serves nearly 200 students from prekindergarten through fifth grade and keeps its classes small on purpose so that teachers can spend more one-on-one time with their pupils. This strategy lets the children’s interests and abilities be taken into account when lessons are being planned. In addition to being a college preparatory academy, the school also features a bilingual program which nearly 90% of students were enrolled in as of the 2020-21 school year. The program’s goal is to teach children to communicate fluently in English and Spanish socially, academically, and professionally.
Located in the historic Roosevelt Building, La Fe Preparatory School works to ensure students have a supportive environment where they can build their confidence by taking risks. Some of the ways the school does this is through its enrichment programs and the chess club. One of the enrichment programs runs throughout the school year from 3:15 to 5 p.m. While there, children take one arts and one sports class each semester. The chess club at La Fe has been operating since May 2010 and has won more than 500 medals and 140 individual trophies.

I would rate this school very highly my daughter spend the best time in those 4 years and as a parent they truthly proved me with the peace of mind that my daughter was safe and learning.

It is a GREAT school. Parental involvement is MANDATORY (isn't that what you want?). There is no PTA, why? Because there are monthly parent, teacher and administrator meetings that are MANDATORY.
