My experience at La Grande High School was overall a great time and I learned a lot that got me ready for life and a lot of other experiences. The teachers are willing and give you the best experience they can, as well as try to educate you with the highest class of education possible. The administration is really there for the kids and the overall health and well-being of them. They really do want to see you succeed and become quality members of society.

I moved from another school my senior year. The community has been very accepting and the Music program is especially good. I would definitely recommend going to this school.

La Grande High School is in a rural, mostly conservative community. Because it is a fairly small community, it does not have any stand-out traits. It really is your typical small town high school. Some teachers encourage students to think outside of the box and explore views that don't necessarily agree with the views of the town, but some teachers encourage students to conform with the small town ways. This is reflected in the students.
