GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

La Grande High is improving slowly but surely after the fiasco that was "Covid". More clubs and activities are being renewed or beginning fresh and sport teams are becoming rejuvenated. As always there are great teachers and classes, depending on motivation of the student. The school needs improvement in offering and following up with resources for neurodivergent students.

I moved from another school my senior year. The community has been very accepting and the Music program is especially good. I would definitely recommend going to this school.

Teachers were great, awesome programs and I was able to graduate early. I really enjoyed the programs and the variety of different types of classes. Wasn't a huge fan of some parts of the school; sports were pushed hard, some things were limited
