GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Going to La Grange high school has been a very interesting experience I would say. I don't love it but it definitely holds a special place in my heart. The school itself is just a building, but its the people inside it that make it so much more.

The people are great for the most part. There seems to not be that much trouble from around the district. The great majority of teachers are good teachers but there are quite a few who are not the best at their jobs. Overall it's a good school to go to because of the environment and competition that goes around.

Since going to school at La Grange since first grade I can tell you, like most schools, it has its faults. But, it is an astounding school and community filled with administrators that care about the health, safety, and well-being of the students and staff attending and working. It prides itself on the many extracurricular activities it provides, the usual well-performance of its athletic program, and the inclusivity and diversity that it brings.
