I've grown in La joya independent school district since I was a pre-k student. To me, La joya isn't just a school district, everyone is united and everyone feels like family. The teachers are amazing and are always there to lend you a hand when you really need it, talking about personal experience. Anyone would be lucky to be a part of La Joya school district.

My experience at La Joya High School was good. I had the amazing opportunity to attend the early college program which has positively impacted my academic success. The teachers are well educated and prepared.

My experience during my time in high school was enjoyable. I did not like how many bad students there were in this school though. Almost every day there was a fight. Other than that, you can still find a few good people, and the teachers that I had were excellent.

Overall the environment creates a very unsafe space and the uncaring of the school m...

They send you out into the nursing homes without filling out any form of paper work or getting TB vaccines or CPR certification. My daughter was told that she was gonna get out of that pr...

This school has awesome teachers, and a strong curriculum. It offers many opportunities for the students to get academic tutoring and college hours; however too many students are allowed to walk around the hallways. The principal, though knowledgeable has no social skills.
