GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Worst parts of being a Troup high school for me was the bullying and what little the teachers did to prevent it. The best part of being at Troup High school were the teachers who actually cared and helped you when you were struggling, the food was also decent to help you get through the day until you got home. I would like to change the bathroom policy for students.

Troup high school offers great teachers a fun environment with an easy commute and most of all a very safe environment for students to learn and just be a kid.

It has been my experience that the teachers have definite steps they are to take to help students improve grades when they fall behind. Most teachers schedules 2 days for tutoring. The have required my students to come in one to study and one day to make up a test.
