GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

So many great electives and clubs. Anyone with any interest can find something to do here. I do wish they offered more support and prep for college.

One thing that I would love to see changed is the favoritism of certain students by the administration. Every year the same favorites get all of the opportunities. One thing I did like was the academics. There were so many classes and electives to take. If you took the opportunity to take the classes you were totally prepared for college and you could take classes that actually interested you.

The very early months that I went here the teacher made fun of me (I won't say what, but simplest way to put it is she made fun of me for something I can't change about myself) and this resulted in a student laughing at me. I was maybe one or two months in but I moved shortly after. This school seemed good. Not very diverse. Incredibly competitive. A lot of students as well as teachers seemed nice but it's hard to tell when you just get there. A lot of the students are primarily white as well as rich. If you aren't either of these you may feel like the odd one out.

It’s sad to recognize the disparity that is displayed at Arlington high School. This school is so racially divided and African American kids are subjected to stereotypical behaviors from other children and worse of all teachers. I hope that they will invest in teaching their staff a different cultur...

My children, now 10 years out of high school, were successful in college and have very successful careers. They enjoyed their years at Arlington High School and felt that there were enough activities, groups, clubs, sports so that everyone could find friends.

Arlington is a great school offering many courses that are not available at other schools. Arlington offers many AP and honors classes as well as classes that are outside of the "norm" you would see at other high schools in the area. Some of these courses include, Contemporary Issues in Biomedical S...

It was okay. But that’s only because I was on the basketball team and kinda popular. But for most I doubt it was a very comfortable environment
