Coming from the most remote town in the continental US, I've learned that life here isn't exactly what the real world is like; unfortunately, LCCS fits in with that statement. There are great teacher/student relationships, and the extremely small school community tries to ensure success in all students. However, the school's environment is so artificial and the social aspect is so forced, that it was hard for me to enjoy my time spent at LCCS.

probably an 8 or 9 out of 10The kids who go to this school are pretty much attending a free private school in a small mountain town-lucky kids.

The Lake City Community School is one of the top two public schools in the entire state of Colorado. As a resident of Lake City, I am proud of our school, and of the professionalism and caring of the staff and administration. I was treated very poorly as a parent by other parents because I am a single mom. The school's librarian made a huge scene in the school, during school hours about a non-school related issue. I found many of the teachers to be unprofessional in their approach with me.
