Lake jackson intermediate is safe and has police officers inside school. Excellent education and awesome teachers.

Rules are rules, there's never a huge punishment. Administration won't help with much, counselors don't even help much.

Unfortunately, education is no longer a priority. Teachers do not have the vocation or patience to be educators or deal with children, and I understand that it may be due to their poor salary or employment conditions. The students rarely have homework or use notebooks and basically computers are our...

I moved to Lake Jackson in the early 70s and went to LJIS. On my first day, I was told you had to say "Yes ma'am and No sir," and girls could ONLY wear pants on a COLD day when the school board approved it, but NO JEANS ( I noticed boys could wear jeans anytime.)
