I feel that the best parts of lake norman are the students but I feel the teachers lack interest in the subjects they are teaching. I had a math teacher who did not even know what she was teaching us and she would copy it off of a worksheet and still manage to get it wrong and teach us the wrong thing. After this happen many times my family and I went to the administration and they did nothing.I had to stay in that class all year and had to pay weekly to get tutored for the work I was supposed to be learning in school but wasn't getting taught because my teacher did not even know what she was doing.

I have enjoyed my four years at LKN! I have had great AP teachers and Honors teacher that I feel have prepared me for the next chapter to College.

My overall experience hasn't been horrible, but I think one of the main issues I have is how the school deals with college readiness. As a senior, I honestly haven't received any help with my applications or with anything relating to college.

Wow - I am moving to the Charlotte suburbs next year and trying to choose a district and school that has the best overall dynamic for my son who will be a freshman. I have been put off by a couple schools in the area who didn’t do tours or were abrupt. I have also had two schools be warm and welcomi...

My child recently graduated from Lake Norman high school and had a good GPA. I would recommend the school, but I have one criticism that the school should deal with. There is an English teacher who teaches juniors and seniors and should be let go. Her English honors class can be taken online or in pe...

Hello. I am a former student of Lake Norman High School. I just like many other students had bad experiences here. Wether it’s from the lack of care from most of the staff (I mean all of the people that work there) or it’s from constant issues and drama that’s going on that students shouldn’t be in....

Zero! The administration needs to be completely changed. They are all lazy and do such a disservice to these students. Teachers follow their example and It has become apathetic .
