Lots of opportunities for clubs and sports. Students are able to participate in activities while still being able to take difficult classes.

Having been a student at lakeridge has been one of the better experiences I've had when it comes to an education. We have amazing staff members like our principal and teachers who actively engage with students and focus on college readiness. Our school sports rank in the higher echelon of public schools in Oregon and routinely revive accolades for our achievements. The food has changed in the past year as COVID heavily impacted supply chains and we relied on things I wouldn't eat if I was dying of hunger. However the lunch staff have been putting in their hardest work to change the opinions on school food. I've had the pleasure of working with many of the staff like our schools lead engineer who actively teaches students valuable skills and tricks of the trade and has inspired countless of my friends to find jobs where their experience applied greatly. Overall Lakeridge has a great community and wonderful staff and I hope others follow suit to match the example some of them set.

i truly enjoyed my time at lakeridge and I try to cherish these last months of my career here it is a high school with very kind and understanding administration as well as teachers. i made so many friends with all of the nice kids here and I truly learned so much in my years here about how to become a better person and about many school subjects such as mathematics, statistics and economics

Education wise our school is great but that's due to the workload increase compared to other schools mixed with the community of cliques and the "highschool" teachers who still act like student in scenarios mixed to make a toxic environment to some.

If your student fits within the box of traditional education, they will do fine. If you are looking for something where they teach outside the box and help support kids who need more (Special Education, TAG, 2E, etc) then this is not where you want to go. Expect traditional "sit and get" instruction...
