The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

GJHS is good for its diverse amount of electives and sports, and the food, while being school food, is edible. The only thing I would change is that it's difficult to get a parent-teacher conference

It's okay. It could be worse. I enjoy it and most of the teachers are nice. There are definiately some flaws, but it's not bad.

I’ve been a bit of a bad kid at this school but the administration are very rude honestly. I mean they’re very mocking towards you. I’d say it’s alright, the students are nice, well some of em and the teachers are somewhat nice. but i truly dislike the administration.

The administrators, teachers and staffs are wonderful and it is the only school in Polk county with 5 academies to offer. The students have choices...
