Had a great High school experience it wasn't perfect but helped me be ready for college and what to expect.

There is a lot that can be said about Lamar High but the main thing is it's draining. The best parts for me were track for the first half, keeping good grades, keeping a somewhat level head and space to keep myself going. Worst parts were more work, different teachers, different attitudes, just different everything. I would like to see everybody's attitudes change, the food, the work, the dress code, rules and regulations.

Lamar High School was great to me. I was always actively involved in different organizations on the campus. The parent/community was great because we are a small school in a small community so everyone was treated as family. I wish there were more resources available to the students in our community like other schools in our district but I can say that Lamar is slowly coming along when it comes to advancing its resources.
