The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

This school is just straight up bad. There are barely any honors classes for kids to enroll in, the teachers don't seem like they care about their job and the students are straight up rude. I'm disappointed to say I'm from this school.

It is a good experience here in Lanai Elementary/High School. Everyone knows each other and always helps each other with work and other things. Students who attend here feel safe, just the way I do. It is a loving and caring community and you will feel just like you are part of the family.

What i liked about Lanai High & Elementary School is they actually care about your education . Teachers here do their best to teach students , some students don't even try listening and that's y they get bad grades
The school administrators do not care one bit about the kids. They are only concerned with presenting to their bosses that all is well . The awful kids have ganged together with the admin to place 5 teachers on DDL for a couple of years. This administration is disgusting… and the others who kiss you...
Negatively, we moved here with two mid-range students, and now both are behind but not for Hawaii!! As all the kids are behind unless they are super exceptional and self-motivated. I had a child that had two teachers (one for math and one for everything else), the main teacher expressed concern abou...
With the new ownership of our island and a new principal, Lana i is going through some positive changes right now. We still have a long ways to go to catch up to the rigor that the common core standards necessitate, but I do feel we are headed in the right direction. Teaching and working at Lana i s...
Lana'i has wonderful, respectful students who don't give any trouble like in inner city schools. However, the academic rigor of the curriculum is not as high as it could be. What the school lacks, due to dwindling student enrollment and funds, the community is left to support. Despite the cutbacks a...
This is a great home in a well-established neighborhood. It has an extended carport and a large backyard. The home sits on 6000 square feet of land and 798 square feet of living space. It has two bedrooms and one bath. The home does need some work, but it is mostly cosmetics. There is a new fence in...

Location, location, location......What we always hear in Real Estate. That slogan is so true for this property. Rare chance to own a property in this part of Lana'i. Lana'i City homes "up the hill" are very seldom available for purchase. This area of the town is truly up the hill from the town c...
