I think Lapeer has awesome resources to get students ready for college. For example, we have Ed Tech, which is essentially trades, and early college/Dual enrollment. The only down side, is many students misbehave with little punishment, and most of the time, get let off with a warning. This, I believe, can make the school unsafe. And I wish they would work on that factor.

Lapeer High School has been very good to me. I have been a part of the football program for all 4 years, and I have been a part of the track team for 3 years. There are also many clubs to be a part of at Lapeer High School. I myself am a part of OMNI Leadership Council and The National Honor Society. Overall, Lapeer has been a very good school.

As a high schools student i like to remember back to when i was younger and all i would think about was how exited i was to finially be able to attend high school but as i got older and actually reached that point i relized its not everything this little girl dreamed of. i dont like school at all. my school cannot even afford bathrooms doors that can lock, and everthing feels to be falling apart That being said Lapeer high school has always made me feel loved and welcomed and i think that with some imporovments currently being made that we can make this school a much better place.

Teachers are enthusiastic! Kids are friendly and easy to talk to. Its basically everything we hoped for when we moved here from Grand Blanc. There are several AP, early college, etc., choices to be made for any kid wanting to move ahead.

Just not a very good school system. A very poor performer, look elsewhere. My students have transferred out and now are vey happy. As a parent I just could not take it anymore.

Just an awful school system. I just really wish we never moved here! The high school is terribly overcrowded, and staff does not respond to request. All that is cared about is the sports teams, how could they not be successful when they are double the size of all their league competition? Many kids...

My son is in his 3rd year at East. The band program is wonderful. Most of the teachers are good. I am very happy with this school. I am afraid it is going to go down hill once they combine the 2 schools (over crowding).
