GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The academics were decent but mostly geared toward the STAAR test. Most of the teachers were mediocre in the way they taught but there were a few that were passionate about teaching their subject. I can't say much about the clubs, culture, and sports since I wasn't involved. The school is in a low-income district with the student body being over 90% Hispanic. Last time I was there they got a big technology grant for new iPads and laptops, so that was good.

I think this is a very good school. But students should get more recognition so they can feel the need to do better.
