As a c/o 2028 freshman, the school is boring. The people here are boring. The staff is nice and friendly however and obviously you get your associates degree for free. its not that bad but we definitely don't get to experience interesting/fun clubs like other high schools (no shade) nor do we get football games or any sports for that matter. but, again, you're definitely getting a good education — ranked top 3 in pg county schools and top 20 in all of md. there are good classes and stuff like that. during junior-senior year we get more freedom so my opinion could change. overall, its ok

My experience at the academy of health sciences was interesting because of the ups and downs this school has brought to my life. The worst part of my experience of going to my school is the social aspect because all my friends aren't in my class so they don't get to see them as much. The people in my class are alright but they don't compare to my friends so it can get lonely at school sometimes. The best part is the environment and the freedom you get when you become a juinor/senior because you have less classes and more time on your hands. The change I would like to see is the school having more events and more field days because it becomes more engaging and we get to move around so it's gives me something to do and it's a good way to be entertained.

It's a great school, but you typically know what you're getting into when you decide to attend: no school sports, few field trips (especially for upper-classmen), and public school food. The teachers and staff are amazing however and all give their best to help you succeed as well as providing you with resources through the High School and college.

My son really has appreciated the experience at this school. I as a parent find the communication with parents a bit lacking but when I have contacted a teacher have received a gracious response..

My child is a year 4 student here and all and all, I'm happy with his education. I have very mixed feelings about having sent my child here vs the traditional high school setting. The school does offer quality education with the college courses, but abundantly lacks with a social existence and socia...

I am very pleased with my child's academic success so far. The faculty and staff are great. Dr. Andrews really loves these kids and it shows. So glad we are a part of this wonderful program.
