I like that the school is such a small school so everyone know each other and there's no a lot of bullying going on because of how close and friendly the community is. Also because it's a small school the teachers are able to pay attention to every individual student to make sure that they are okay and making the grades that are expected of them. The downside of it being such a small school is that we don't have a football team so if experiencing Friday night lights are important to you then that dream is taken away from you. And also we have very few sports so there's not a big variety when it come to choosing a high school sport to play. Other than that Lapoynor is a nice and welcoming school.

Since Lapoynor ISD is a small school district it is a close knit school. I love that everyone knows each other and looks out for and helps each other out. We don't have issues with drugs, weapons, gangs, fighting and the issues bigger school districts have. Because we are a smaller school that means smaller numbers in the classrooms too, so the we get more of our teachers undivided attention.
