The best part about Western was my counselor and my coaches they were the most supportive and caring. The worst part was some of the teachers and administrators did not want to see you succeed.

This school does too much and too little at the same time. Overall western isn't terrible but they push ridiculous rules and expect one to just go along. They don't discipline well and the same behaviors continue.

My overall experience at Western High School is okay. I moved here 1-2 months after starting my junior year last year. The teachers were very welcoming when I first started here. It's a very welcoming and positive environment when it comes to the teachers, admin, and staff. The people here genuinely care for our future and offer many opportunities for us to catch up or advance in academics.

Staff is horrible they don't care about ur children at all. Asst principal Bolken is the worst don't send ur children here. My son was provoked on the bus. Another student kept putting his hands on him and once his backpack got broken he lost his cool and now they are giving him 20 day. He never gets in any trouble. Maybe if they did their job and teach kids to keep hands to themselves and boundaries stuff like this woul...

Say what you want about Western, but what that school lacks in budget and access, the teaches more than make up for in sheer heart and dedication.
