In Laupahoehoe Community Public Charter School, there is a friendly atmosphere due to the wonderful people who work here. The teachers and staff are always willing to offer their support to others so that we can all move forward together. This school has an amazing view of the ocean as it sits upon a cliff, where sometimes you can see whales breach out of the water.

This is a beautiful school! Small class size and dedicated teachers. School Director is super dedicated to continuous improvement and he really cares about the kids. Safe campus. Ongoing social-emotional learning and focus on improving academics.

Under the new leadership in this school, things are continuously improving. Even in these pandemic times, the online resources and teacher participation has been excellent.

It is the only school in my area. We plan on selling our home and moving. My view of the school is that it is run by the same staff all these years and regardless of the revolving directors will remain the same as long as the core staff remains. It is not progressive or collaborative and doesn't sup...
