My experience at West Jones High School had its ups and down. At first, in middle school, I was in love with the school. When I started getting older and more aware of things that were happening I started disliking it. Thing I would change the most at West Jones is favoritism. A lot of the times it is about how much money you have or who you know. I wish it was just a space for kids to feel safe to open up and achieve in their academics.

Throughout my high school career, I experienced many sides of West Jones. I have been the kid with all the friends, no friends, involved in many clubs, and no clubs at all. Through everything I had to face during my time at West Jones, there was always teachers and faculty willing and ready to help.

The fans of sporting events are horrible. They vandalize vehicle and taunt the players. The adminstration allows the taunting.

West has a make up of good teachers and they are very strict in academics which keeps your student dedicated. We are new to West and have learned the difference in being mature and being dependent. I believe West will prepare my child for college not only academic , but emotionally.

I loved this school!!! I am a graduate from West and my children attend now. I have always been pleased with the quality of the academics and electives offered. The teachers and administrators are often strict, but in this day and age that is a blessing. I feel safe with my kids here and feel thankf...
