My overall experience at Betty Fairfax was partially good because my track coach helped me along the way to get prepared for graduation and college. The school is not the best when it comes to academics and safety but it is a work in process and they are doing many things to change it. I would say that there are many kids who enjoy school and love making friends as it is a very diverse community. Administration works hard everyday to make sure that each student is in class and are maintaining good grades. I have worked hard and done a little extra to be able to graduate in time and go to college with the help of my coach and counselor. I believe that the school does not have enough resources to help students get prepared unless they ask. I feel as though college readiness is not a priority to them but they try to make it seem as if they are pushing students for greatness.

I used to go to this school and it’s the worse school you could ever put your child in. The teachers never help you. They don’t care about your child’s education and when there’s issues they ever care to solve them. And the principal is terrible!!! never send your kids here.

My daughter has had a wonderful high school experience here. There are only a few kids (and parents) that stir up trouble. Overall, the academics are rigorous, the opportunities for sports and activities/clubs are many and the teachers care about their students.
