GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

We have not had the same principal for the past three years. Though dress code has gotten better, bullying still seems to be a bit of a problem.

The girls sports teams are very competitive and last year as a junior, myself and my team went to the 1A Division 2 State Semi-Finals. However, our gym is without air conditioning, and the building is over 50 years old. The boys football field is old as well, and the track is still made out of caliche. We do not have a baseball/softball field, but I know of many students who would love to participate in chose sports. The girls basketball/volleyball/track team has had the same coach for five years while the boys have not had one coach for more than two years.

That being said. I have a child of six who went to this school and now homeschool him. He started in kindergar...
