GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Being a student at lecanto high-school while also being a child of one of the faculty, I definitely had a different experience then most. But my gpa was high and I was as ready for college as I could be.

I had a decent 4 years at lecanto high school. Some things that I like are the classes offered here and the sport programs. Some things I'd like to see change are the food and the school culture.

Lecanto is an IB school, that also offers an art program, and dual enrollment opportunities. The academics are very good in comparison to other schools around the same area. There are problems with keeping teachers, and having enough staff.

The school faculty and staff are very attentive to student needs. The programs offered are fantastic, and the environment is safe a nurturing. I am happy with the quality of the education my son receives there.

This school wouldn't be too bad if it wasn't dirty, and falling apart. It's obvious that this school is either underfunded or is spending it's funding on the wrong things. They obviously don't care too much about how the students feel about the place, which they all basically hate it here.
