My opinion, if you're of color they dont treat you the same. I didnt have chances and was often kicked out and rejected from this school. I didnt have to do much to be discriminated against. Some of the same things my peers did, I would get written up and sent out for. I had some hateful teachers that simply did not care. Outside of that, college readiness was non existent. I wasnt prepared at all. They dont care to help my race.

It was okay overall, but I feel I missed out on some opportunties I saw others at neighboring schools get.

The kids are well mannered which says alot about the teachers and leadership. I am particularly impressed with the music program

Teachers go above and beyond in helping students be successful. All teachers are available before or after schools on many days if the student seeks help.Science labs are outstanding and challenging at the advanced level. Open lab times are available. There are a lot of extracurricular opportunities...

Our daughter attended Lee's Summit High School graduating in the class of 2005. This was a very rewarding experience academically as well as, socially. LSHS helped prepare our daughter for college.
