GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have been going to Lena-Winslow since kindergarten. I have not had one bad experience with the school itself, just some peers picking on each other, but that is just school. The teachers and staff handle each situation appropriately. They are incredibly caring, and the staff does not leave anyone out of any activity. They treat all students the same. There is nothing I can think of that would need to change.

Small class sizes. Most teachers challenged students academically. Good communication between faculty and parents. Great community support.

I loved that my school was generally accepting of me and who I am, the way they helped people through their issues, and the way disciplinary actiowas taken when people deserved it. I do hope to see the high school take more action in same sex education courses as well as boosting its transgender resources.
