My experience was alright. Everything seemed pretty normal and nothing too special. I think the school has a lot of good clubs to join and do. Some lunch's are better than others but I do know the lunch ladies are trying to do there best for us.

I love my friends and the family they have become. I don't like some teachers but others are very good to us. Many aren't very strict.

I enjoy the teachers here and they help me when I ask. They all try their hardest to help me with my questions. I love this school because this school has given me many opportunities for sports and extracurricular activities. I would like to see more people getting involved and join our AVID program because it helps a lot with college readiness.

If you want your child to be respected do not send them to this school. If they are an athlete or the child of a teacher or school official they can do anything. Other kids are Mis-lead and told not to do college courses. Bullying is fully acceptable. They will expect the students to learn about sch...

Test scores and previous articles in the Local paper tell the story of this district. They have poor preforming teachers and administration that pass the buck. There is always a finger pointed outside the school placing blame for the failing scores. Our children learn from what they see and the stud...

I also wanted to note that LSH provides a great program/class called AVID. The class teaches you great techniques, study skills, and gets students prepared for college. Students also get to go on college trips and get a feel of the college life, what it will be like, etc. From personal experience, i...

No summer programs offered, other than summer school. This is lost likely due to the scope of the administration, with a sports oriented ideal and less emphasis on academics. Though it should be mentioned that some faculty and outside sources have arranged for "summer camps" for various sports, usua...
