Island Trees High School has been integral in getting me ready for my college years. I have had the opportunities to participate in excellent extracurricular activities, such as Orchestra and Robotics. My teacher have all been supportive and helpful in ensuring I succeed in every class.

The best thing about my high school is that I feel safe. It is a small school in a suburban area. The faculty and staff really care about us. The worst part of my high school is also that we are a small school. It lacks diversity and more options for sports and clubs and electives. The change I would like to see is their course catalog provide more options for electives.

Island Trees is great high school and has been for some time as my mother graduated there in 1995. The teachers are great and willing to help.

It’s a small school where everyone knows everyone. There is no bullying and it seems all kids get along. Academics are good. Sports are ok considering it’s a small school. Parents always are in touch through a app so you see grades as they are posted by teachers. Kids can’t hide any failing grades....
