I've gone to fcds for all of my high school years and it's been just okay. The teachers are fine although favoritism is very obvious especially with the english department and administrators. Administration also does not care about the students feelings at all and will call you out in front of everyone without any regard of the circumstances. It's happened to my friend and I. There is no diversity at all and the majority of kids who go here are stuck up rich white kids who will talk smack behind your back, and make fun of you for dressing different. i've been talked about behind my back here before and no teachers care about it although they claim to have a no bully policy. Amenities are nice but most of the time students aren't allowed to use them or they are under strict rules. ex: no phones during study hall which is fine but I like checking my emails with it so it's quite annoying. Do not send your child here if you want a diverse school.

FCDS is an amazing school. We have so many opportunities here, and we have a lot of freedom that you don't get in the public schools. The teachers are top tier. They know what they're talking about and they find interesting ways make their topics engaging. I never thought I would be into Shakespeare or passionate about history, but my teachers genuinely made me curious to learn." - 11th grader

We're so happy to be part of the FCDS family. We couldn't ask for a better school for our children. The administration and staff are thoughtful and friendly and their support towards the students and parents are great. My children are not only receiving a great education there but also they feel safe and happy.

We have had four different students attend FCDS. Yes, it hurt financially but I could not think of a better way to spend our hard earned money. This place is amazing. A well run machine where you take your child and they are TRANSFORMED!! Well worth anything that is asked of you. Your child benefits...

Our child has been so happy since coming to FCDS. The staff is amazing, caring, and keeps you informed about your child's progress. The JAC staff, which tutors children with LD, are highly trained in teaching students with dyslexia, and other learning differences. These tutors/teachers are NOT LEARN...
