Too many rules imposed on children by the administration. Like in a military establishment. The resources are good, the facilities are nice. But my children did not enjoy that school: they lost interest in studying, and went there mostly just to socialise. Not bad academic results overall for the school, but my feeling is that it is achieved by families in the after school activities and at home.

My son hated it, and finally we had to take him out because he was being bulled by another student, and the teacher was encouraging the bullying. He got punched many times, and never learned anything. The lack of diversity is sad, and all the school is doing is bussing in kids from boston, so the sc...

Horrible, they are mean and only care about test scores, not the kids actually learning. I did not know division until I went to another school.

Bowman is a diverse, well-run school. The teachers are great, and I've noticed my child has gained confidence and progressed very well. I left the city because of work, but I'm heading back to Lexington so my daughter can continue progressing.

Bowman is an excellent elementary school. We've had nothing but positive experience with the teachers and the principal especially does an excellent job of placing students with the right teacher.
