Fiske School works hard to meet the needs of all students. It focuses on both academics and social emotional learning. The school culture is very good and parents support educators to engage students in the school. The PTO is extremely supportive and the school community is as well.

There is nothing particularly innovative or unique about this school, which is disappointing. The kids it draws from largely come from extremely educated and affluent households, so the sky should be the limit here. There is no foreign language instruction. Cafeteria food is bad. I feel the school has been academically quite rigorous and my children are happy. Given a huge mandate the principal is give, I believe he does a very good job. I am impressed by how individualized an experience they are able to give despite it being an overcrowded elementary school.
