GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Casey County High has many pros and cons. The level of education is poor, there is a new teacher every year in most of the classrooms and currently are short staffed on math teachers. Not to mention the smoke free claims while janitors smoke outside. But there have been many teachers who've made me into me.

This is a great school. Unlike most high schools around us we are a very small school (about 600 kids in the entire student body). This is why our diversity was ranked poor or only one star. We are a majority white school with just a few Hispanic kids. The only other thing I would rate not good is the food. We have the same food every week. My parents tell me how they had a fresh salad bar or a potato bar with all the fixings. We do not get that. We even get the same fruit week after week. Other than the food, this school is great.

I have been a Casey County High school student for four years. No doubt about it, it's a great school to get you prepared for college. Throughout high school, there's several clubs and activities that help students become greater prepared, as well as mock interviews. I wouldn't change a thing about the school. It has taught me several life long lessons that I'll remember down the road
