You have to be an athlete of many years to fit in here and it's social suicide if you're not a stellar one. Do they have the best teams? No, but the culture is centered around athletics. Luckily I play two sports and it's been the highlight of my time here. Academics are hit or miss. If you take AP and honors courses, the education is very good. Those classes are challenging but not too bad. There is bullying but it evens out by junior year. Many students are coming off the pandemic era years and are highly addicted to their phones/gaming. I don't see them doing so well - they end up at college without scholarships and not the best schools. Not very many people do well on standardized tests in comparison to the public schools around here. You can do well here if you carve out your niche and have a few teachers on your side. My complaint about the school are the students. The majority are spoiled, not creative, not academic, boring. I feel really bad for non-athletes who attend.

An outstanding school - academically and mentally. No school is perfect (I've been to a few and so have my siblings), but CBA is a resounding 9.7/10. If you put in the work, you will get so much out of it. I am now deep into my sophomore year at a top 15 school (according to Niche) and thriving. CBA taught me how to organize and prioritize my time, how to focus and to ask the right questions. I am as happy as can be and I attribute so much to the infusion of CBA. They do a great job obtaining the right students, faculty and staff for the jobs. Of course, as in every school, you have to have a few less-than-wonderful-people; however, at CBA everyone has something to offer.

From my experience, Christian Brothers Academy has very good education and a rigorous school experience. I enjoy the sense of brotherhood associated with the school. The school is often lacking in creativity and could benefit by adding more arts oriented activity.

Chirstian Brothers Academy is more than just a place for freshly minted middle school grads to continue the next four years of education. It is an institution which provides the impetus for young men to truly grow into hardworking and upstanding individuals. CBA exscels above the rest, because it pr...

I attended CBA for four years while living in Eatontown and graduated in 1984. The current principal, Mr. Santanello, was 1 of 2 Vice-Principals at that time. My freshman year was quite an adjustment from my 8th Grade at a Catholic School due to the significant increase in homework. My sophomore and...

I attended this school in 1967. I was beaten and slapped around by Brother Paul in Latin class almost daily as were other students. If I was called on in class and didn't know the answer I was slapped punched or pushed. Other Brothers also did this but not like Brother Paul. I had to transfer to Asb...
