GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The school's okay, wish more was spent towards helping kids learn than the football team. Could fix up certain areas of the school that are starting to deteriorate. Could have better education.

I would like to see more AP courses. I do like the practical experience classes like HOSA, EMT, EKG, fire fighter and CNA. Teachers will work with you if you need.

To start off Clay County is a great home town to live in its small and very loving. So having a school right in the heart of town makes it even better with students from surrounding areas that all come together to make a friendly and fun atmosphere.

Coach Campbell shouldn't be allowed to be the principle. He's simple minded and doesn't care students situation unless it directly affects him. He's absolutely horrible. I would ask actual students about this school before enrolling any teenage child in it.
