As a black girl, I felt really uncomfortable in Newark Academy as I got older. There was not a lot of diversity in the higher level classes, and marginalized groups were under or poorly represented in these classes. For me, that feeling was the most salient takeaway from my time at Newark Academy.

Its such an awesome community. Every teacher is there to help you and the friend circle you will make is unheard of anywhere else.

Newark Academy is a wonderful school which prides itself in exposing its students to different forums of knowledge. Newark Academy is known for "ad Lumen" i.e to reach enlightenment, they strive in pushing their students past the boundaries of the four classroom walls which inspires creativity and uniqueness.
