It's overall a great school I've been attending Lockhart districts since I was in fourth grade and I have never had problems. The staff and teachers are great I make great bonds and create the best memories, this school is welcoming and safe I enjoy coming to school and learning.

In my time at the high school, I was constantly uplifted by those who saw my potential, however those who did not made my life miserable. I would want to say this was a one-off experience, however, I find most students who come through this school struggle to be properly prepared and equipped with the skills they need to be functional and successful in college and beyond.

My experience at Lockhart High School was really good. I had counselors and admin who helped me out while I was really down. Teachers were supportive.

The faculty and staff are friendly and helpful, but they are not effective. Students can get easy A's if they put in the effort, but are not prepared to do well on harder state tests or AP tests. They are also not prepared to succeed in college, where they will need to use high level critical thinki...

I am a grandparent. My granddaughter is very happy at LHS. She is in pre-AP classes, which makes a big difference. She does the active UIL program, and plays sports. I am not aware of the programs for special needs students or less active students.

I believe that the LISD is the heart and soul of Lockhart, TX. The administration and staff go above and beyond to make sure children are successful. LISD has a completion rate of 95.3% and is a Recognized school district. I am proud to be a Lockhart Lion!
