At Youth Elementary School, the motto is “Y.E.S. We Can!”, a powerful and positive statement for learning. With over 700 students in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade, Youth Elementary receives stellar rankings on both its teaching staff and its academics, ranking in the top 10% of Georgia elementary schools in test scores.
Beyond the classroom, teachers also focus on developing children’s characters and helping them become good citizens as they learn. In addition to a traditional curriculum with language arts, math, science and other core subjects, Youth Elementary offers a “Specials” program. Physical education classes let kids get active and learn about the importance of physical activity and how it relates to health. Weekly art and music classes allow children to explore creative expression while the school’s computer lab lets kids get familiar with technology, a lifelong skill.
Outside the classroom, Youth Elementary School offers fun extracurricular activities that include an archery club, early birds club and, for academic achievers, the Beta Club. The school enjoys great community support as well as an active PTA, all working together to help the school create an engaging learning environment. The faculty and staff at Youth Elementary strive to nurture the whole child, preparing each student for a bright and successful future.

The school is always kept very clean, classrooms always have germ-x, classrooms are kept safe and clean, and the school serves very clean and healthy food. In addition it is a very safe school environment where actions such as bullying and fighting are not tolerated.

Staff well qualified. Strong admin. Good specials, Clear expectations and high standards are set. Like the covered playground for hot and sunny days too. Strong PTA and lots of involved parents. A few dedicated parents help in Media center on regular basis too, which is amazing!
