Pretty good school. Staff is mostly pretty nice and they offer a lot to students. Cafe food is kinda trash but the rest of the school isn't bad.

Rock Canyon overall has been a great experience for me. The teachers and staff really show that they care and want to help out in student's endeavors. However there is also a highly competitive nature within the academics of this school, which can either push you to be better, or create a slightly toxic environment for learning.

I love Rock Canyon High School. The academic environment is very diverse and if you want to be advanced, you absolutely can be. Speaking from experience, the AP and Honors tracks are very good and there's plenty of kids who take them.

Bad: The Teachers aren't very good in the grade book and always mess things up. The Bathrooms have been destroyed for 2 years now. They don't even attempt to clean them/fix stall doors. pretty gross. The Special Ed/IEP program is not that good. almost none of the teachers actually go by your accommo...

They do a horrible job dealing with bullying and don't care about student mental health at all. They only care about the education and the teachers put to much pressure on students. Wouldn't recommend.

After principal Andy Abner left this year, looks like the school went down a bit. For my daughter in the freshman class, the AP Human Geography teacher has been a nightmare. She even had her send an email to the teacher and copying the parent saying it is all her mistake that she got less grade. Mrs...
