Rock Canyon is a highly-academic school, with a large amount of diverse clubs and activities. The student body is not diverse. A great deal of emphasis is placed on AP classes, and causes pressure for certain students.

Rock Canyon is a very respectable school. Rock Canyon has gotten me somewhat out of the bubble I live in which is Highlands Ranch. The rigor and school work prepares all students for their life after high school.

Overall, Rock Canyon is a great school with excellent academics and teachers who provide value. The school culture, however, is hyper competitive and grades really matter. The food is awful and needs to be changed. The sports and clubs that are available are plentiful and well funded.

Bad: The Teachers aren't very good in the grade book and always mess things up. The Bathrooms have been destroyed for 2 years now. They don't even attempt to clean them/fix stall doors. pretty gross. They do a horrible job dealing with bullying and don't care about student mental health at all. They only care about the education and the teachers put to much pressure on students. Wouldn't recommend.

After principal Andy Abner left this year, looks like the school went down a bit. For my daughter in the freshman class, the AP Human Geography teacher has been a nightmare. She even had her send an email to the teacher and copying the parent saying it is all her mistake that she got less grade. Mrs...
